Excellent presentation! I really liked it. Yes, common people generally have an idea that if someone studied abroad or stay in a different country, and can understand their local language then that person can easily translate any document. Language translation needs expertise, experience and professionalism as well…it’s not only translating words. It’s about translating the entire idea into different language that is presentable and make really sense!

Oh, hilarious! Love it! I will share the link to this post with my new students from UC San Diego. I recently started teaching the online Intro to Translation class, and I think this is perfect for them. I bet many can relate, even though most are just getting started.
