Imagine the shock of having a series of indecent proposals in your inbox after putting up an add when you wanted a sturdy structure to fix your antique 4-post bed… True that the latter can be used for the former, but we’re getting off topic here.

The main point is, disregarding grammar, both or your own native language as well foreign, can lead to mistakes that can range from funny and amusing, to embarrassing and insulting. If you are a businessman reaching out to a global market, or if you are presenting a case for a courtroom study, grammar can drastically change the meaning of an intended message which can ultimately lead to costly mistakes.
