I am devastated to hear the news this morning that Chris Irwin (aka Textklick:

He was also kind and cheerful in the comments and tweets we exchanged. He donated when I walked in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for breast cancer research in honor of his wife, who was under treatment at the time. He was a dear, dear man and his loss is great here in our little online world. If you would like to offer your condolences to his family you can do it here.

Chris was a friend to so many of us, a man of rare and valuable character. Although I respected his talents very much (he was my gold standard for skillful marketing text), it was his personal qualities and his dedication to the woman he loved for which I will always remember him with greatest fondness. He is the gold standard for much more than his words.

Well said, Kevin.
