This video was written and performed by Erik Skuggevik for The Norwegian Association of Literary Translators. It’s pretty brilliant if you ask me.

I really like this – thanks for sharing! I just can’t stop wondering how long it must have taken to create. The thought processes involved are quite mind-blowing, even for someone who loves language as much as I do (and admittedly, even if I had the skill required, I’m not sure I could muster the patience…).
I enjoy your blog by the way. I’m new to the blogosphere but can already say your Wordless Wednesdays are an entertaining mid-week break!

“They’re experts at making easy peasy work seem really difficult.”
It’s true! But finding the perfect translation is difficult!
I love what happens when this gets reversed.
Also, fun fact, Russian, German, and English are my main languages too, and I am also a German to English translator. We should hang. 🙂
